Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors are a professional basketball team based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They are a member of the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Established in 1995, the Raptors are one of the NBA’s expansion teams from that era. The team’s name was inspired by the popularity of dinosaurs, particularly following the success of the movie “Jurassic Park.” The Raptors’ colors are red, black, and white, and their mascot is named “The Raptor.” The team has gained significant popularity, especially after winning the NBA Championship in 2019, becoming the first Canadian team to achieve this feat. The Raptors play their home games at the Scotiabank Arena in downtown Toronto.
