US Military

The US Military refers to the armed forces of the United States, which are responsible for the defense and protection of the nation. It consists of five branches: the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Each branch has its own unique roles, missions, and responsibilities, ranging from land-based operations to naval warfare and air support. The military is tasked with national defense, supporting national policies, and providing humanitarian assistance, among other duties. It operates under the authority of the President of the United States and is governed by both federal law and military law. The US Military also plays a significant role in international relations and peacekeeping efforts around the world.
